WHO
Tombola is Britain’s biggest online bingo site with a community of over 400,000 monthly members playing over 40 exclusive, themed games. Tombola has also successfully launched their brand into European countries, including Spain, Italy, Holland, Sweden and Denmark.
WHAT
We’ve worked with Tombola as their audio partner for over 15 years, sourcing and recording voiceovers for their British and European games.
Tombola approached us with their biggest project to date: a landmark partnership with Hasbro to develop and launch a new online Monopoly bingo game across the UK and Europe… and so our job was to find the perfect English voice of Mr Monopoly and also his Italian, Swedish, Danish and Spanish companions!
WHY
Working closely with Tombola, we firstly established Mr Monopoly’s key traits: gusto, gravitas, effortlessly larger than life! We then cast the net across Europe to find a set of voiceovers that would authentically deliver this unique character across all 5 languages.
Linking up with Tombola’s teams in each of their European hubs to direct, we recorded and edited over 1000 lines of Mr Monopoly… and he’s now live and ready to play across Britain and Europe!
This was by far the most complex project we’d briefed Get Carter on – multiple games and 5 languages! The character voices they sourced for us in each language were brilliant and all of the recording sessions went perfectly!
